Warning!

WARNING ALERT!!!
Some people talk about who they are, other people live it. Misery got a car full of company and they on their way to see you. Lock your doors and ignore their phone calls. If they catch you in the yard, start speaking positivity over everything they say. Pop all the balloons they blow up and snatch down the streamers. Throw the cake in the trash and tell them you don't do PITY PARTIES!! Watch how fast they leave!

Quit!

Public service announcement,clears throat......

STOP SPEAKING IT,IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!
If your not going to apply it and live it, stop talking about it! If you believe it's already done you need to move on to something else and quit lingering there.
Quit taking people on these trips cause you can't make up your mind about what you want to do with yourself.
You going through all this unnecessary drama over something that aint yours to deal with!!
Quit Cheating yourself out of a blessing cause you seeking happiness somewhere that you should not be.
Quit wearing these mask , we know it's you.
Quit saying Lord I thank ya, but you still bitter on the inside cause it ain what you want!
Quit speaking death when God has given you life!
Quit abusing his power, and trying to take his job, stay in your lane!
Quit being selfish with your work when you know God wants you to share it.
Quit thinking your GOD is better than mine cause we all should be serving a mighty GOD!

I found my voice again and u just gon have to be mad with me cause I will not entertain foolishness!.

Change is necessary, but will you make it?

Having a relationship with GOD is like being a parent. It doesn’t come with instructions; he does things you can’t understand, and sometimes it feels as though you’re talking to yourself. You find yourself questioning your decision, but the commitment pays off. The reward and the blessings make it worth it.
My son woke me up in the wee hours of the morning, with his echoing voice. I walked out and
gave him the eye and attempted to go lay back down. That was not meant to be. My attention was needed, and well GOD uses his resources to get the message out.
Often times we miss our blessing because we are traveling with passengers that should have been dropped off a long time ago. We often get caught up in the length of time we’ve known someone as opposed to rather or not the person is conducive to our life. We all have or have had an acquaintance who only calls when they want or need something. Notice how Dr. Always right can tell you what you’re doing wrong, they never follow their own advice. Leaving some people is hard, yet very necessary. You can say what you want, and feel the way you feel, but when GOD calls me and says it’s time for me to GO GET IT….. I’m riding solo. Cam not finna miss nan nuder blessing messing with folks who don’t share their blessings with you, but want to enjoy yours with you.
We often pray to GOD for change yet when his actions don’t add up to your EXPECTATIONS, you want to throw in the towel. You can’t be happy for someone else’s blessing cause you too busy mad it aint you! Whatever Sister SO and SO has, it was designed by GOD for her. And whatever GOD has for you……is for YOU!!

I write what I call Camizms, most people call them pearls of wisdom. Here are a few I want to share
1. When you step out on faith….. that’s your way of showing GOD you trust him.
2. I have already been validated by GOD, your approval is not needed.
3. Stop riding around with passengers you should have been dropped off. Some road trips are just for you and GOD only.
4. Surround yourself with positive people and positive things will come.
5. When you say Lord build a fence all around me ……..STOP LEAVING THE GATE OPEN!

Life's Journey

Life has been interesting as of late. As I prepare for the woman's conference, my faith has been tested time and time again. If I wasn't having financial problems,I ended up dealing with health problems.I have always been one to say "If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it!"
There has to be a pretty great return headed my way. I am still pushing through and  I still believe God got it!

I let a lot of things and people go along the way of my journey, and I realize that is not only the hardest thing to do,but the most necessary. Life is starting to come together, and I must say I am starting look forward to what lies ahead!

What is it about me though.....

From the age of 4-18 I experienced some form of physical, mental,or sexual abuse.I remember this man saying reach in my pocket.I was four had no idea it was wrong, yet my babysitter saw me and spanked me.She said you dont do that! Looking back at it,why didn't he get in trouble? This same man was allowed to take me across the street to his house to go get "candy". He used to stick his tongue in my mouth and say your so pretty.I was four. he was OLD! I went through several episodes like this.

By the time I was in the sixth grade I was a loose cannon.I was always picked on, beaten, talked about and just plan mistreated. My aunt used to date a married man,and if he stayed too long at our house,he took me home so that his wife wouldn't get mad. Those rides were torture. No one seemed to care that I was angry and bitter.
My mom said she wish I was never born, well many times,so did I .
People often ask,Why didn't you tell?
Who was I going to tell when it felt like I was part of an arrangement.
I felt like I had been sold to the highest bidder.
I was promised to several people before I was born. My aunt got to keep me.
When Uncle Frank died, that was the end for me.
I was almost raped by the man who had been molesting me after my uncle died.On top of that I was told it was my fault.
Years later I found my biological father and moved to NY to live with him. Before I moved,my Godmother said to me,be careful, don't let your guard down.
I never thought I would need that advice, yet I took it anyway. No one could have prepared me for what I was about to endure at the hands of the one person who was supposed to love me. Yes I wear scares from my father.

I never understood why I experience these things in my life, until now. My story is mine to tell, but someone else has lived the same scene.

A Peaceful Journey

"We all have gone through something or another, but I believe that we must tell our own story when we are ready for the audience to hear it." Camela Humphries

Many people follow me to see what I'm going to do next, alot of those people are my biggest cheerleaders in life. I have a very small circle of friends who encourage me to do better. Those same friends have said, you have a story that needs to be told.
I always worried about everyone else's feelings when it came time to tell my story, then it dawned on me. It's not about hurting those who hurt me,it's about healing and letting go. It's also about being a beacon of light to someone else who may be struggling with the same issues.
I'm not writing this out of spite or hate.I am writing it in hopes that someone who is going through,or has gone through a similar experience, can walk with their heads held high and know there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Life Lessons Learned

Are we really setting an example for our children when we tell them to get an education
and yet we don't have one?
And how can you raise a man to be a man if you never been taught by a man?
How are we suppose to show our daughters how to be treated with respect,
If we don't first respect ourselves.
We have to learn self love and get rid of self hate.
We must teach our children it's not what you say
It's how you say it.
And sometimes you have to go down the road of have nots,
In order to get to the streets of Amen.
It's not what can be done for you,
It's what you have done that speaks volumes.
Don't let a pass hurt hinder your happiness today.
Don't allow nonsense to get in the way of your victory.
Nothing good comes easy,
And anything worth having you have to fight for.
But through it all it's never a mistake,
These are all life's lesson's learned.

I've Learned

Ive heard with age comes wisdom
But I'm finding that to not exactly be true
It seems the older some of us get
The slower we get.

I've learned that it doesn't matter how old your are,
You can still learn a thing or two from a young person.

I've learned that real friends don't ask questions,
They do what is needed and keep it moving.

I've learned you can tell a person something a million times,
But once they make up their mind, you can't change it.

I've learned when people call to talk about their problems,
Sometimes they just want you to listen they really don't want your input.

I've learned you have all the friends in the world,
Until you get sick,or your car breaks down..

I've learned to accept my have's and have not's
I've learned to respect other people's feeling about me
Good or Bad
I've learned that you either like the person your are
Or focus on liking the person you will become.

I've learned that people are not our pet projects
We either like them they way they are or we don't

I've learned that people don't change
They've been that way all the time
We just didn't want to see it.

Toxic People

Many times we add extra strain and pressure on ourselves by continuing to be involved with toxic people. Ever notice how as long as there is drama and confusion, your audience is spellbound and hanging on your every word. But speak about something positive and up lifting and you can hear the crickets singing in the corner.

If all a person has is negativity, that person is toxic. Put on your hazmat suit, your shoe covers, and gas mask and walk away. Toxic people kill everything striving to grow and live. They never let you water your dreams, nor do the let the sun shine on them to grow.
When you say, "I want to start a non profit to help battered and abused women", only to hear, "there is alot of places like that all ready, your just wasting your time". RUN!!!

That person is contaminating your space with negative feedback and killing your dream!
We are responsible for the things that come out of our mouths as well as what we put in there. Life and Death is in the power of the tongue. You are either going to speak life into your dreams, or you are going to allow Toxic people to place the nail in the coffin!

Your Steps Have been ordered....... What are you going to do

We have learned that we can't fight fate, what's for you,is for you. You know the path you should take in life, however you turn down a side street to avoid the path GOD has chosen for you.You can run, but you can't hide from the your calling.. I here a lot of people say "I know my life is hard cause I'm not doing what GOD want's me to do". The number one reason is cause it's boring living right.
Guess what, it's not boring cause life is what you make it!

Before you were created in flesh, you were designed for an assignment. Your path is set, your steps are ordered and the choice is yours. Will you follow the path or create your own? Will you accept your successes and failures equally? Many people love to win,but you very seldom find those who can handle defeat.
I know who I am and all that I strive to be,yet I am trying to be the best me I can be.I'm not where I want to be, but I am so blessed not to be where I used to be.
You never know what effect your words or actions will have on others, that's why you must proceed with caution when you speak.

Your path has been chosen.Your steps have been ordered, what are you going to do?

Can't Fight Fate Pt.3

Some fight, some go willingly. God never failed me so I trust him. What now Lord?
The answer came after attending a Friday night church service in Hartford,Al. I met Dr. Walter Sims. Not only did he become my Life Coach, he became my Pastor and Mentor. He motivates me just like I aspire to inspire others. I didn't come this far to turn back. I had to come out from among them. It was hard at first, but there is no greater love than GOD's love.

I am looking forward, pushing to succeed.
Remember in order to move in the  present, you have to let go of the  past.

Be Blessed

Can't Fight Fate Pt.2

I have often said in order to tell somebody about something, you must have knowledge. You can't realistically give advice on something you never went through.
Everything we go through in life is for a reason, although when we go through it,we don't see it that way.
Between the ages of 4-18, I was physically, mentally or sexually assaulted. The                       sad part was it was like a coming of age thing. History was allowed to repeat itself so much, that no one did anything about it. I remember once when I was about 11,my mom was talking about my aunt and I took offence because she raised me.I asked her not to talk about my auntie like that, and she said well the next time her man almost rape you, don't call me.
Sad huh? Well at 11 I was used to it. You see I had heard how If my aunt would have loan her the money,I would not be here today. I fought to live long before I got here, and I've been fighting every since my arrival.

I have gone through ups and downs, good and bad.I've been hurt in the church, hurt by the one man who should never have hurt me,and for some reason I kept trying to get my parents to love me.
Every year I have to remind my mother of my birthday, and she still doesn't call me and wish me one.
My father told me he didn't see me as his daughter but a woman in the street. He did a lot of inappropriate things to me,but the biggest betrayal was when my mother remarried him after I told her about it.I carried all of this with me for years.

I spent my life doing what others wanted me to do,put all my dreams on hold to help them achieve their's.One day I received and message online that would change my life forever.
There were only two loves of my life,my Uncle Frank and Fred. Fred used to come visit family during the summer. We were kids, but it was the real thing. He was always there to save me. seventeen years later, he saved me again.

I left everything I knew and moved to Cottonwood Alabama.God was setting the stage. My mom did and said things that made me cut my losses. Things started to take shape. I could never get comfortable in the house I was in,so I left.I got a place in Slocomb, Alabama, the mode was set.

Can't Fight Fate

I remember when I was a little girl,I loved going to church.I often felt the need to be closer to the Lord.I couldn't get enough knowledge about him. I used to imagine how would it feel not to breathe again and be apart of the universe. It was kinda scary, but I had been taught that Jesus would come back and I wanted to know what and where heaven was.
I was baptized November 19,1982 a few weeks before my ninth birthday. A lot had happened that year. That April my beloved Uncle Frank retired and spent all the time he could with me.I had no idea he was dying.Between chemo and cancer, his 6'5 265 pound body had shriveled to 98 pounds.
August 8,1982 my hero died.

My aunt had no idea that my so called performance at church was really my decision to live for the Lord. I told her later if I had told her the truth,I knew she wouldn't allow me to do it. She said I was right.
The Lord called me again at thirteen. I went to a youth conference and I got saved. I felt empowered as I recited the sinners prayer, only to have it all crashing down when my aunt told me I couldn't become a nun. She had a lot of anger with church. Later in life I found the reason why. When I got older I saw the same things, but I am never one to not give someone a chance because of what someone else did.I come from a religious background, and one thing they teach is forgiveness.

While many people come to Jesus after going through years of drug and alcohol use. I always came cause I seeked him, yet I never stayed because I felt alone, and had nothing to do.I didn't want to be a member that just sat in the pews and screamed amen from time. I wanted to be apart of the work. I wanted to organize activities, start programs, write skits,be a blessing. I never was concerned about recognition, because I wanted it to matter when it mattered the most and that was with God.
